Bible Studies

EVERY SUNDAY MORNING AT 9:15AM:

The primary adult Bible study meets in the church Sunday mornings between worship services. The topic changes periodically.  During Lent Pastor Taylor is leading a study on the temple and its importance in the Passion account.  Anyone is welcome to attend.

A small group Bible study meets in the church office to explore a variety of topics. Anyone is welcome to attend.

There are also opportunities for teens. See the Youth Ministries page for more details.

The topics change regularly. Your volunteer webmaster keeps the information up to date to the best of his knowledge.

NOTE: Any Bible study program that is not from Concordia Publishing House should first be reviewed by pastors before group study.

PERSONAL/FAMILY DEVOTIONS:

Everyone is encouraged to take part in personal and family devotions. Take as little as five minutes from your day to immerse yourself in God's Word. There is no required format. If you are not currently involved in daily spiritual enrichment and are unsure where to begin, consider one or more of the suggestions below:

  • Read Portals of Prayer
  • Use Family Devos (inserted in the Sunday bulletin)
  • Read a Bible passage
    • Look at the Sunday bulletin insert. Below the Introit are suggested daily readings.
    • Choose a book of the Bible and read one a few verses or a chapter each day
  • Sing a hymn
  • Say a prayer
  • Look up the Daily Devotion from Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM.org)
"May he be like rain that falls on the mown grass, like showers that water the earth! In His days may the righteous flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!"
