Music Ministries
"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods."

Music is an important part of the ministries at St. James. The only requirement to get involved is enthusiasm for music. All of the choirs are featured at the annual Spring Concert on the first Sunday after Easter. Grade School ChoirsMusic is part of the curriculum at our school. Each choir sings approximately three or four Sundays a year in addition to presenting a Christmas Program in December. Worship ChoirThe adult choir is open to all singers. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 8 PM in the church choir room. Worship Choir sings approximately two Sundays a month. Women's ChoirWomen at St. James are invited to sing in this group. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 6 PM in the church choir room. Women's Choir sings once a month. Praise BandA group of singers, guitars, keyboard, and drums provide the music at the Blended Worship services. The band practices two Mondays a month at 7:30 PM. See what the band has planned for upcoming services. Bell ChoirThe bell choir is open to all members. Rehearsals are the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the school music room. Bell Choir plays once a month. Sunday School ChoirsThe Sunday School classes participate in approximately three or four services each year. Male QuartetA group of four men have enhanced the services since 2008. Other Special MusicIn addition to the groups that practice regularly, individuals and small groups provide special music with their instruments and voices.
