Sharing God's Love

The month of December should be the easiest month to tell others of the birth of our Savior, however, will we take the risk or will we worry about what to say? What does Evangelism mean to you? Do you think telling the good news is for the Evangelism Board and not you? According to the definition of an evangelist – it is simply a messenger of good tidings of the gospel. What a blessing and opportunity we have to count on the Holy Spirit to give us the right words to say.

The Third Commandment reminds us to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. What does this mean? We should fear and love God that we do not despise preaching and His word, but regard it as holy, and gladly hear and learn it. This reinforces the command to not only read and study the word of God daily, but to also share it with others. During this holy season let us ask God to strengthen us and give us the opportunity to be a good messenger of the good news.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer Psalm 19:14.
